In gameplay? I don't think there's a mechanism for that.

In code? The key and knowledge of the address are both tags in the relationship database. The key tag is applied to each family member, not just the one you're talking to. There's also a "Security Level" for special character's homes which is cleared when you get the key, although I don't know off-hand what that's used for. (Lockpicking difficulty, I guess).

Are you using a mod that makes Peter into Petra, i.e. Futa Overhaul Mod? You probably should ask in that mod's thread. If this happened in the vanilla game after using something like the Futa Maker chemical, then it'll be a bug and should be reported in the bug report thread, perhaps with more details from the exception, like which file it occurred it.

Yeah, Authority naturally rises as teachers teach, as far as I can tell.

It usually takes real effort to lower Claire Fuzushi's authority for the Cosplay Club. I think this is one of the areas it's WIPness shows: for both Authority and later Corruption, you need to have affected them significantly through other means before the club will start affecting them. (It's possible to get her Authority down just with the Cosplay Club but it takes ages, at a few points or less per week. Cosplay Club's corruption-lowering events are gated behind 35 Corruption or so, i.e. you need level 2 Corruptor drugs or level 2 Suggestion to get her over that line.)

As far as I recall, the most reliable method I found was to lower Claire Fuzushi's Authority is to trigger the "Class in Chaos" event and let her sort it out. That drops a point of authority each time, but costs like 0.1 reputation, I think. Between that and weekly Cosplay Club events (which usually drop her Authority, AFAIR) you can slowly advance her. But a good teaching week can set her back.

One possible option, which I haven't actually tried, would be to have Claire teach a class she's terrible at. But of course, you're costing student progress, which means costing RSD bonuses.

Maybe her mainline quest was supposed to end up somewhere where her Authority was either lowered, or at least lowerable, but since mainline quests usually also deliver Corruption, it wouldn't make sense for the Cosplay Club. Honestly I'd rather the Cosplay Club was built into a full main-line quest for Claire (and a Cabaret club) and her existing questline dumped since it's both painful to trigger some stages and it seems like it conflicts with personality shown in the Cosplay Club.

It's also possible that some of the teacher-abusive rules (Teacher models in Biology or nude-models in Art... is that a teacher modelling?) might lower authority. I haven't checked, and if they don't, maybe they should. Pulling Claire in as a biology model rather than the currently-teaching teacher actually makes sense here, but would affect the class schedule rather annoyingly and might not actually be fully-implementable in VEE. But since she's the designated Art teacher, that might be the go.

Another easy idea for a mod would be to give Claire a Helper job for extra-curricular Art Club nude-modelling or something. Helpers are usually post-mainline though, but maybe completing the Sayako chain would be good enough...

Okay, I know this was a simple Authority question, but now I'm thinking that if I was to restructure Claire with a magic wand:

Sayako chain first, then that leverage gives you both "Make her join the Cosplay club" (replacing the current fairly transparent lie, although it's one of the few places you can gain Charisma IIRC), and lets her do a Helper activity that lowers her Authority and Inhibition, e.g., nude modelling for Art Students out of class. Cosplay club advances to the cusp of needing Corruption (sex...), and her Helper activity becomes A/V (AV) club actress (Oh, hey, that's another unimplemented club...) which would increase her Corruption.

Honestly, I had previous thought the Cosplay Club would flow into the Cabaret somehow (making costumes for the Sexy/Topless variants, I wrote a whole post about this idea elsewhere) but now I think it dovetails nicely with an A/V club, with Claire as the "guidance teacher" (aka "victim") for both.

(I don't recall exactly where I saw the A/V Club described, I recall it being roughly like the SPE club but for boys; it was supposed to share the computer room... Maybe have been in the bug tracker, since clubs sharing rooms on different days is maybe not implemented.)

And back on topic, I would expect the Carmen Club to lower her Authority too, even though she doesn't even attend its meetings. (Claire never actually shows up to Cosplay Club either though... Maybe the scheduler doesn't support this either...)

I have seen Carmen in her club after its event fires, if the event's duration doesn't take us out of club time. I only ever visit in the later portion of the club time for the hardcore stuff. Maybe she doesn't show for the softcore events? But it's true I've never seen Claire in the cosplay club no matter the event. Perhaps those discrepancies should be addressed somehow

I'll have to play with hypnosis a bit to see if I have the option to reduce a teacher's authority with it. I prefer hypnosis over drugs, though I will use drugs if they're my only recourse. I recall hypnotizing a fully corrupted Susan once (I know, not a teacher - but still staff so idunno if it tracks) and the only option I had was to raise her authority, which is not what I'd want lol

Teacher modeling is for Anatomy class, Tbbile. Art lowers inhibition on its own possibly because nude models are used naturally.

Yeah, I must have misremembered that Carmen never shows up, I haven't run that chain for a while. Sorry for the confusion.

I happened to have the Carmen Fan Club opening event open for a different discussion, and Carmen is actually added as a member of the club. (I didn't realise non-students could be added to clubs...) So the fix for Claire never showing up seems easy to me. I wonder if that ever conflicts with the Detention system though.

If the club stat-changes and body-changes could be different for the teacher and the students, then this would be a good way for Claire guiding the Cosplay Club to be slowly deauthoritied/corrupted over time even if you don't trigger the event; Similarly, making Jessica Underwood the Swim Club advisor would be a way to help boost her stamina back into the range where she can actually be an effecting Swimming teacher.

Hmm. I wonder if all the teachers have appropriate Clubs the guide... That said, the problem with this idea is that until you hire the right teacher, you ether have a random teacher guiding the club, or no teacher (the latter is probably fine...). And I don't think we want to gate clubs behind hiring, that feels counter to the system. Maybe having a guidance teacher join would let you boost the club stat effects or something.

This is mostly engine-level changes though, so there's not much room to explore this with a mod except scheduled events to simulate the desired effect...

Quick-edit: And on the original topic, it occurred to me that I could add a simple weekly staff meeting to my 5P mod and offer the opportunity to affect staff member teaching-related stats mildly, by e.g., supporting someone's ideas, or cutting them off at the knees, etc. This wouldn't affect stats that HasQuest is supposed to protect, it'd be closer to the Do Paperwork event or the 1:1 idea I had for 5P already.

The cooking club didn't ask for exapnsion (the part with extra equipemtn so they can increase production is done), the music club is in the cabaret and they asked for more room, the theatre club also nothing is happening.

I think something broke.
Looking at the actual interaction, it is supposed to trigger - RentDidningRoom value is 3.

The only option I'm getting is "None... just wanted some small talk"

Is the cooking club in the cabaret or not? It wasn't clear. I think it needs to be there. And there needs to be more than one of these clubs advancing to be able to get to the next step.

This quest was changed to reduce the places it would get stuck at -- it used to require advancing the cosplay club as well, just because Amelie and her stupid cosplay club would go through all four, but I'm almost sure that requirement is gone. It was much easier for me to advance these clubs on 1.10.6.0 than previously (last played at 1.10.5.5).

Music club is the only one that moved in.
IT's been weeks and nothing triggers in the other clubs.

Could be that Amlies quest froze progress on other clubs or something? Could it be I advanced the music club too fast?
