If you succeed in hacking a Porn Site or Social Network, you should always gain a little bit of hacking skill. If you're failing, it caps your advancement depending on the difficulty, but the absolute maximum you can achieve from failing is 45 skill. That said, the Underwood hack is as hard as the hardest Social Network hack, or the easiest Porn Site hack, so if you're consistently passing the Porn Site hack, you should be able to pass the Underwood quest hack too.

I personally prefer "Minimum Skill" mode from Indicators & Difficulty mod, so it's more deterministic, and also faster. (I'm not here for the minigames...)

The first practical test is in the women's changing room at the school, it's different from other events that can happen there, and mentions the hypnosis practical test before the first choice. However, last time I tried this, the first test really did not want to trigger for me. It only triggers if there's a single, female non-special student present, and the changing room is a fairly-busy location. (On the plus side, there's no penalty for failing the attempt when the opportunity does present itself.)

If you have hired a librarian and have high-enough suggestion, there'll be a second test mentioned when you start or visit the PI to update him on your progress; the tests can be done in any order and the second one is easier to trigger, but it's possible to soft-lock this part if every female student in the school has already lost her anal virginity.

That said, the practical test doesn't do anything special for suggestion skill growth, and particularly does not override the rule that you only gain suggestion for sex acts the first time you successfully suggest that level of act with a particular person. (Maybe it should be limited to only triggering with people whom you can gain skill from, but that'd be hard to implement right now.) So if the person you get for the locker room is someone you've already suggested into oral sex, you won't gain any suggestion skill from it anyway.

In general, be aware that the level of sex-act determines how much suggestion skill you gain. The text you get when you successfully suggest something hints at the amount you gained, which can be less than a whole point, so you may not see the number itself go up each time. When you tell yourself "more of the same is fine", that means you've done that thing to that person before, so you gained nothing. And the higher your suggestion skill, the less you gain from the act, but you always gain something from the first time. To see the actual numbers involved and the definition of sex-act levels, see Docs/Mind Control.pdf page 6.

Behaviour modification still gives skill grow on repetition, but they give less skill growth as your skill improves (varies by particular choice), and eventually caps out. At suggestion skill 50, none of the behaviour modification suggestions will grow your skill any further, and you're reliant on finding new victims. Like sex suggestions, when you tell yourself something rather than feeling it, you didn't grow your skill at all; that behaviour modification is now "too easy".

Futa Maker is the hardest drug to create, you'll need maxed-out chemistry skill for it normally. However, the Hardman quest chains have a couple of possible outcomes that include getting access to Karin's notes, which will reduce its creation difficulty to the same as the lactation drug, slightly harder than the modification level 2 drugs.

I don't know how to advance the hacking skill past the point you're asking, but I can tell you I've never even bothered and I've hacked Annette's computer, the porn site for backgrounds, social media for that quest, and Underwood's quest to completion and all I've done to "train" hacking was read the book from the electronics store until it was done and then hacked those things a few times for practice if I needed it. Like, I've had some plays where the book didn't get me over the hump to hack Annette's laptop so I had to do the porn site a couple times but that's all I remember having to do. IME hacking is like the photoshop skill. Only train it if you can't do the next task it's needed for because AFAIK it's got no other use or residual benefits

To train suggestion higher you just need to keep hypnotizing new victims. Each person has a "times hypnotized" counter so you know who you've done already

test sites

The two practical test sites are the girls' locker room and the library. Library requires the librarian to be hired. They'll reroll every week-ish if you fail (just like the park and hospital hypnotisms) so just keep trying. Locker room one asks if you want to try hypnotizing a student and then "see if fellatio is in the cards." Library one has you comment that the library seems empty but the librarian says there's one person there, who you can then go hypnotize to wait at your house for fucking. You need to go to your bedroom w/i the next half hour-ish to complete that one or they'll snap out of it and leave

Ive reached the point where her daughter is "going to attend the school from now on. Best wait and see if any new developments come up".
Ive seen SA around town/school and reached the point "should potentially look for other places around town where she could be engaging in less-than-holy things".
Is there a specific time/place i should be looking? some specific level of inhibition/corruption i need to wait for? whats the trigger for the next step?

What does determine the abs on the paperdoll? Stamina? I've been doing cardo and avoiding weights, but there seems to be no effect and the PC is not loosing the abs. Fit does not equal muscular.

Technically cardio is the main route to getting abs IRL, weight lifting is more to do with the upper body.

In game it goes off Stamina + archetype / gender modifiers. Stamina also covers strength, as it's already pretty underused (and having it as a separate stat would just make 2 underused stats).  Stamina (as strength) is only relevant in like one chain.  PC's stats also don't go down afaik, as that would add even more grind.  The abs could maybe scale off of how balanced PC's workout is (currently untracked), though there's no such equivalent for other NPCs.  Fleshing all these things out comes after the actually important parts are done, abs can be disabled if you edit the Set\Body.ve.xml.

this is probably one of the weirdest questions, but is there any way to make leveling skills take less time? I'm trying to get into this game, but right now, it feels like 90% of my time is going to be taken up with a grind of some sort, be it raising skills, doing the workouts, farming events, or whatever. I understand you're supposed to work on changing your school using hypnosis and stuff, but the new player guide only tells me how to do some grinding, not any goals to shoot for or things I can unlock.

Basically, I don't know what the rewards for all the work I'm going to be putting in are going to be, so I can't tell what I should focus on.

And for that matter, I have a specific gripe about the new player guide: what is "lower" willpower? is it willpower below 50? below 60? 70? I don't know. I get that at least part of the appeal of this game is not knowing some of the changes, but I'd like options for transparency.
