I don't know what happened, but the options for Research, etc. in the Chem Lab just disappeared. Any advice?

If things blew up, then you really can't do anything until the queued hallucination event fires and the replacement equipment arrives.
If you ran out of supplies then the player character should have made a call to the chemistry supplies shop. Also takes a couple of days to arrive.
I can't think of any other reason why the options wouldn't be available.

The only situations that I can envisage the options disappearing are if you've run out of supplies and are waiting for a delivery or if the lab exploded.
