Not sure what raises Charisma post-book nowadays but time was non-hypno kisses would do it.

TBBle

Chatting during dates and successful kissing during chat both increase Charisma past the book level. It also looks like Anastasia Goth's chat and hacking training can boost Charisma too, so that's probably the more-effective method once you have hired her.

I forgot, but how do i go back on event chains in the debugger?
Corrupting Students since 2006

Dont know where to put this, so ill try here.
Im currently stuck at Sherylin Ambrose Quest. According to Debug i should be at Step 4 - "Schoolyard (encounter lvl 3+). Requires random encounters. Found phone, confronted."
The issue is that the event wont launch. At first i thought i need to have events with her at schoolyard until some "phone event" launches, now i think i need to encounter her in city several times and then she either drops the phone in city, or at schoolyard. The issue is that none of this is working. Ive spent ingame months on schoolyard every day, then reloaded save and spent another few months switching between places where i knew i meet her (standing there all day, doint the 10 minute skips) and schoolyard, but all ive been getting are her standard encounter events all over again. I dont know if im doing something wrong.
I even think the event might be broken, since i got her standard "met at school schoolyard with her friend and remote" event and then realized its actually Saturday so noone is at school.

1. Is it possible to see futas as futas, i.e. with green color, from the moment they appear? I hope there is a way...

2. Is it possible to 'unspecial' some special characters? So many things to guess about them* and so few ways to interact with them...

* Using the PI advices doesn't help much.

The way I understand it, if your principal has Futanari as one of their fetishes from character creation, that's what causes futas to appear as female (pink name) until you suss them out

Barring bugs, special characters will be quest-related, and will be un"specialed" by either completing or early-aborting their quest line. Only a few have early-abort options in their questlines though.

Quests are started either from the PI, or other events happening as you wander around the world (mostly the school, in fact) and the world gets more corrupt and less inhibited. Some quests also depend on particular classes or school expansions. Once a quest is started, your smartphone journal should guide you towards the next step.

It's not clear exactly what you wanted here, if you feel there's too many special characters, or you can't find the quests, or if you're looking for a button to remove the "special" status for a particular reason.

So, it's my fault!?  ??? If I didn't say I'm not a great futa fan, they would appear as they are and not as females?  :'(

I'm okay with the two options!  ;D  A button to remove the "special" status would be very welcome, but I really don't understand how to make the relationships evolve with so few interactions...
But maybe you help me much: I confess I very rarely consult the smartphone journal... :-[ I have to leave right now and look at it!  8)

Quote from: a_principal on Apr 29, 2023, 03:49 PMA button to remove the "special" status would be very welcome,

A mod could be made that does that (or you can do it directly in the debugger), but it then has potential to break any questlines that depend on statistics or relationships advancing via the quest.

I suspect a few people would be interested in a more "sandbox" mode, which disables various questlines and unspecials the relevant PCs. That would be a fair bit of work, but still feasible as a mod (particularly if it was only at new-game, not trying to support existing saves). The main complication is that some questlines, e.g. Sam Keller's, unlock other school features.

Quote from: a_principal on Apr 29, 2023, 03:49 PMbut I really don't understand how to make the relationships evolve with so few interactions...

Quest-driven NPCs generally evolve their relationship through the quest-chain, that's why the various interaction systems are locked off while they are flagged. The quests often (but not always) will leave you high relationship and/or friendship; several end with the NPC in love with the MC, and others deliver high loyalty: PTA members usually end up promising you support for PTA proposals as well, and I expect that to be an easier/cheaper path than fully corrupting them manually would be.

Once you complete an NPC's quest chain, the are unspecialed and you get all the usual interactions made available again, if you want to build the friendship or relationship still further.

Futanari colour discovery is a setting under Map > Options > Advanced, as per _README_GAMEPLAY.txt.

You do not want to disable an NPC's special status, as that will turn their PD into a generic one.
IsSpecial is otherwise only used for filtering away NPCs for certain random events, and internal mechanics.

HasQuest is something different, it's what's blocking most interactions, and can also be disabled via Map > Options.
Only real downside is that some quests might skip stages, or progress faster.

Yeah, I knew I was wrong not asking before. Many thanks to dalzomo, TBBle and barteke22. For the futanari color, I'll have a look at Map>Options as soon as possible.

You're right, I absolutely don't want "special" persons to become "generic" (much more appropriate term than "normal", I'll try to remember it). I don't want to break everything, but for instance, winning only 0.3 relationship point each time I pay a visit to a certain secretary make me think the game is going to last forever... or even more :o

Sorry, I should have been clearer, but I've been talking about HasQuest when I said "specialness", i.e. the thing that puts the "!" on the UI and blocks some interactions, for consistency with the original question. The term "HasQuest" isn't actually player-visible anywhere outside the dev tools/debugger AFAIK, so I expected it might be confusing in this context.

That said, I was totally unaware you could disable that in-game already. Oops.

You have to manufacture them yourself. Once you have opened a Chemistry classroom at the school, the path should become clear.
