The Basic Girl Pack is a collection of starter girlpacks for new players. It's curated to offer a nice variety of popular characters in a (relatively) compact package. In this thread we can propose and discuss updates to the Basic Girls Pack.

What modifications would you like to see for a 0.3 update of the basic girl pack?

So far, I was thinking of the following changes:

• Generate simple _BK.ini files for all included girlpacks that don't have one yet
• Add "creator" line to all _BK.ini files to properly credit the pack creators
• Include a shortcut that links to the Google Sheet
• Include a shortcut that links to the Tagging Tool thread

Girl packs, changes from 0.2:

• Batgirl -> switch from mailfatoto's pack to Leortha's pack? (more recent pack)
• Djeeta -> To be removed? For a non-western waifu, her popularity seems very low on MyWaifuList, so there are probably better alternatives
• Erza Scarlet -> switch from Leortha's pack to Mistrun's pack? (more recent pack)
• Nessa -> To be removed? Replace with more popular Pokegirl
• Nico Robin -> switch from Goldo's (?) pack to Mistrun's pack? (more recent pack)
• Rangiku Matsumoto -> To be removed? Bleach is overrepresented
• Tohsaka Rin -> switch from Tidalbore's pack to Chris12's pack? (more recent pack)

Girl packs, candidates for new additions:

• May by Leortha -> to replace Nessa as Pokemon girl
• Aerith Gainsborough by neronero -> custom content showcase (voicelines)
• Ahri by earliestbird555 -> popular unrepresented franchise, custom content showcase (custom events)
• A Genshin Impact girl? -> popular unrepresented franchise
• A Hololive girl? -> popular unrepresented franchise

For any suggestions about new additions, keep the following in mind: No loli, no real girls, no video content, small total pack filesize (< 25 mb) is preferred

If we wanted to showcase custom events on a more drastic scale, I fixed the code for the Ram and Rem custom events and could re-upload those (initial events weren't scripted properly and didn't have all of the variables necessary to even run)

I think all of the general suggestions for a 3.0 basic pack are pretty good though.

Are all of the proposed new packs already converted to Webp?

Yes, that sounds good! Leortha's Ram pack is still part of the collection, so we can add it onto that.

Giving proper credit is going to be a bit odd in this case. The pack is made by Leortha, and the events are made by Yasaki74... but they're heavily based on earliestbird555 & kite80's work (plus you've had to fix some things to make it functional)

Yes, I've got all the proposed new packs converted to webp already, apart from the Genshin Impact & Hololive suggestions (I'm not very familiar with either of those things so I'm not sure which girls would be a good representation for those IPs)

Sounds good. I'll make sure that everything actually works and all of the events are correctly coded and I'll re-upload the relevant files.

Yeah - since we are already adding a "creator" section, that could just be a general contributors thing, with all of the material that gets built upon being attributed.

for hololive, i'd suggest either Calliope Mori or Shirogane Noel from my packs, at least as far as already existing packs go.  i like my lamy pack better personally, but Mori and Noel are i believe more popular.  Houshou Marine would probably be the best fit but no pack for her yet.

i don't think there's a great genshin option though, the only packs for the really popular ones (Raiden Shogun, Hu Tao, Ganyu, Keqing, and Mona) are by enzokpo who tags all 4 jobs identically... which makes for kind of a boring pack to me.  Eula's also pretty popular but the pack for her is ~200mb. 

i was planning to make new packs for Mona, Shogun, and Ganyu at least but life's been busy so i haven't been able to work on packs for months.

if you want a Granblue Fantasy rep to replace Djeeta, go with Narmaya.  idk how mistrun's new pack compares to the one i released other than "its smaller" so not sure which to go with there if you do.

other additions that might be good, Demon Slayer could be represented, tylerJ's Ryza pack would be solid imo, and Power or Makima for Chainsaw Man.  Maybe another Fate representative since most people know it by FGO and not FSN these days?  and Aetheran's C.C. pack for Code Geass.
