Hey, a Tailoring club is a pretty good idea. Save money on projects or other clubs--but take longer when doing it to avoid paying for the cheerleader uniforms.
Could also have events where they sew custom School Uniforms or swim outfits (following the same typing as cheerleaders: Elegant for reputation, Sexy for Corruption).

I'm not sure that "Tailoring" leads into "only male crossdressers" though. Boys and girls alike would be interested in the art of tailoring, so unless it's crossdressing both ways (and encouraging it somewhat out of club), it may be better to have tailors simply inspire a certain weight of crossdressers.
