Is there a way to cheat and increase friendship? I tried the CheatMode mod but it increased all my stats which I didn't like, and I can't find a friendship variable in the debug menu. Please help!!

In the base game alone, there isn't any way of doing this. You need a mod.
The "More Suggestions" mod from this post: https://henthighschool.net/hhs-mods/wip-more-suggestions/ will do this.
There should be an option under either Chat or Mind Control labelled "Influence Dreams".
It autoselects the one you're looking at currently and you get to select the other character. Then you have these options: Wholesome, Lewd and Terrible.
Selecting Wholesome will boost Friendship.

Set RELATIONSHIPDATA for [person 1 first name]_[persona 1 last name] to [person 2 first name]_[person 2 last name] to Friendship x. Where x is the value you want.
