It's possible you've hit a bug. I recall in 1.10.6 Amelie was updated so she could visit clubs in any order, maybe something got stuck there? Do you recall which clubs she's visited?

But yeah, the Music Club can't do the upgrade alone, the cooking club needs to also want an upgrade. (The logic in the VEE file is pretty convoluted, so it might not be obvious that this is the case if you're in the debugger.)

I just edited the event to ignore all checks for hte club and amlie being present, let it fire so she could "visit" and now hte other club events are starting

I've been messing around with the PopulationData folder, trying to reduce the number of men to minimum. I'm not touching the special characters, but I want everyone else to be like 75/25 female/futa. I think I can see which numbers to change, and after making some new worlds it seems to work.

However I've heard that a lot of events will never trigger if I set the number of males to 0, and school enrolments might also break. Do I need to make any other changes to make the game work properly?

So the way the enrollment system works is that it tries to fill a balance of genders at the very beginning. So if you only have the special character male students in the game, they will all be enrolled at the beginning, and no others added to the system or classes.

Many original events were hard-coded to need a certain number of each gender in a place for it to have a chance to fire within the school.  I seem to recall someone had made a mod that corrected this issue somewhere, but I don't remember who it was by or for which version of HHS+ (1.9.5 or 1.10+).

There are some events that require males, but they can be eaisly edited not to.
THe images might not be correct, but that can also be fixed with a little bit more work.

But to keep the game from being completely broken, it would best if that was made into a mod, rather than editing the base game files.

Not only it could be, but it WILL be. None of the clubs will go to the cabaret before Amelie has her quest event in them.

Check what club Amelie is currently in, and be sure to visit it regularly.

I had a quick look at all three "Girl in Club" events, and their associated cabaret-progress events in the same folder, and nothing seemed amiss to me.

So I'm not sure how you got into that state. Did you have local modifications to Events\Location\School\Classroom Music\00_ConcertStart?

All three are 70% subject experience-based Evaluation, so the ones with existing experience are the only ones I looked at.

Physics is influenced by Natural Science, Intelligence, and Mathematics; only Beth Manili already has experience, so it comes out to: 0.7*20 + 0.3*(0.5*25+0.3*40+0.2*40) => 23.75 starting evaluation, rising quickly as she gains experience, and synergises with teaching Math. Beth's the obvious choice for teaching Math already, and that's the only other way to raise Mathematics, so these two subjects fit together naturally.

Carmen Smith has the least experience but is smart and educated, so it comes out to 0.7*15+0.3*(0.65*20+0.25*40+0.1*60) => 19.2 starting evaluation. This has some synergy with teaching Biology too, so she seems the natural choice.

Ronda Bells has slightly more experience, but her attributes are not as-suitable, so it comes out to 0.7*20+0.3*(0.65*20+0.25*40+0.1*40) => 22.1

Irina Jelabitch should be roughly the same as Ronda Bells, but somehow has 0 experience in Natural Science teaching despite experience in Chemistry teaching, so it comes out to 0.7*20+0.3*(0.65*0+0.25*40+0.1*40) => 18.2 (I think this is maybe a bug, and she should have non-zero Natural Science experience, given she has Chemistry experience...)

I think Carmen Smith seems the right teacher there, as Biology synergises well, and experience is the fastest thing gained.

That said, if you already have Beth Manili teaching Math and Physics, then her starting evaluation in Chemistry will be 0.7*0+0.3*(0.65*25+0.25*40+0.1*55) => 9.525 which is half the others, but will rise quickly with experience. So if you're keeping Carmen Smith exclusive to Biology for quest-chain reasons, Beth can do the job, and it synergises well with Physics and slightly with Math, so I expect she'd overtake Ronda and Irina pretty quickly too.

(Edit: For some reason I thought Carmen's quest chain was run in the Biology classroom, but that's not the case...)

(Carl Walker similarly has no chemistry teaching experience but good stats: 0.7*0+0.3*(0.65*0+0.25*50+0.1*50) => 5.25. His Math score is similarly low due to lack of experience: 0.5*0+0.5*(0.7*5+0.3*50) => 9.25. But his stats are pretty good across the board, and he has areas of experience that are harder to fill otherwise, so I wouldn't prioritise him here.)

Anyway, once you have Anatomy class going, Carmen should be teaching that too, so Chemistry will end up as a third subject for either Beth or Carmen, as it's outside their major subject family (Mathematics and Life Sciences respectively) and both have roughly similar synergies with their main two classes. So really, by the time you have Chemistry, you probably have hired both Beth and Carmen, and can check their in-game evaluation stat bar; both will give increasingly good results as they accumulate experience. Both Beth and Carmen can tutor TSE/PSE, so that might be a third subject for whoever's not teaching Chemistry... and TSE is more Carmen's bag than Beth's.

So my final call now is I'd probably put Beth into Chemistry for more long-term benefit and to keep Carmen focused on Biology for the quest-chain and Life Sciences/TSE overall as the subject list grows.

Anyway, there's a reason Beth's always my first hire... And worth noting that her quest-line bumps Education and Intelligence by 10 once you finish it, and up to 4 on approximately weekly repeat-visits, so she can become very good in the non-experience measures if you give her the attention she craves.

If I ever get back to my 5P mod, being able to pre-interview teachers and have them tell you what their best subjects are might be interesting.

There's a mod by barteke called "Teachers Compendium" that allows you to check how good each teacher is at each subject. Plus, hiring other NPCs as teachers.

Well, Amelie WAS blocking the other clubs. I head to cheat a bit to get the other club events to fire, but now everything is working.

So the Music club chain actually has a couple of checks before she'll show up.  You need to have heard the club playing good music, Amelie cannot be rogue or in detention, you need to have hired either Susan Hooter as your secretary or Lydia Swan as your PA, AND there need to be at least 4 fem/futa members including Amelie present in the club for this to not be blocked.  Personally, I find it triggers most often after I've paid the club president $500 for CD production - like literally the next minute.

I tried almost all the options for flirting with the character, but it did not lead to any positive result or to its absence.
Conclusion, is my level of relationship or charisma too low?
Please give a guide on how best to build a relationship and how to act with each archetype.
