Is there any way to tell if an event is scheduled? Carmen hasn't been tripping lately and I'm wondering if I missed going to the session afterwards and somehow broke the chain.

If you go into Debug > Debug Events > Location > ... Sports Area or Ouutdoors Shared?? > CarmenTrip > Bottom left should tell you when it's scheduled next - otherwise you can add a breakpoint in the Try-phase and trigger it to see where it fails.

I feel like an idiot now. I never noticed the information on the bottom left!
