Feedback needed for Swim Club!!!

Hello, if you haven't read my other thread "Reason for no new Updates" this might be a bit confusing so possibly might want to read that.

But basically, I just want some feedback on the later half of the club chain. This is one of the more intricate chains that is also very much reliant on the

Things to note on that have already been decided on
-1 You start coaching and then have a student suggest an off-season competition(money currently up in the air if it'll stay, need to talk to some others since I've never messed with it during gameplay)

-2 The regional comp is now something that is separate from the swim club chain. It still occurs, but is now a seasonal thing.

-3 Reasons for coaching is now tied to character backstory(don't worry, it just basically means you were in a competitive swimming team before)

Basically I need the ideas of you all to try and figure out how to go about the latter parts of the chain. Namely the Lifeguards, as while I am keeping the branch of the coaching event which leads to it alive... I am admittedly confused. Since the nature between Lifeguard and Competition has always been a 'have one but not both' but since that might change... I am up in the air on what to do. So I want your feedback and input. ESPECIALLY from those who already enjoy the chain.

TL-DR; Need some input on later part of the Swim chain because I don't want to ruin what people enjoy but it needs updating to fit in with the new Competition System being added. The competitive branch already is more or less solved, just need help on lifeguard branch.

The thing that makes the Competitive branch 'work', mechanically, is that it demands on your calendar that you show up, and rewards you with a decent rep boost for showing up.

One thing that might work on the competitive branch is adding sports betting as an angle. Debts paid in cash and/or sex. Corruption bonus for sabotaging the other teams, etc.

Lifeguard branch... Right now, the only reason to pick it over competitive is for cash income (at which point the club barely breaks even after spycam pics) and it unlocks no interesting events. So you could cut it, and lose almost nothing, IMO.

The other option for lifeguards is, you could cram in even more events onto the Beach showing the lifeguards at 'work'. And by 'work' I mean 'corrupting the general populace'.

So you're needing ideas to expand on lifeguard student scenarioes? Here's a couple i guess.

"Private pool party supervision"
Trigger story:
- A group of students ask the principal if they can use the pool during after hours / weekends.

Response:
The principal assigns lifeguard students to supervise the event. (which may or may not devolve to something more than just a leisure pool party)

Continuation event:
-The principal spots a non-student also in the pool party. Either berate and close the pool party down, eventually looping to the students asking permission again
or
-Take this as an opportunity to make a new gig where any groups of people can use the pool for a fee (and have lifeguard students there for supervision). May or may not devolve into 'events'.

Continuation if the pool party has people outside of the school:
Perhaps a guest falls into the water while clothed, and a lifeguard student saves them in front of everyone. The school and the student gets some kind of benefit from it, but also gets the approval from someone relevant to assign students to work at the beach ? And have some interactions between an adult lifeguard teaching the student lifeguard the ins and outs of the beach or something.

"Teaching the adults to swim"
Trigger: A lifeguard student comes up to the principal, stating their parents and parents' friends want help learning how to swim because they slacked off swimming when they were young, and didn't want to pay for swimming lessons.

Choice:
- Let them use the swimming pool during afterhours/weekends to teach.
- Let them if someone pays (whether it be monetary or otherwise) for using the swimming pool (may need some stat checks for this one?)
- Disallow, which loops to either a different student asking later on, or some of them sneaking in to teach (stat check? i dunno how difficult this would be to code).

If allowed:
Visiting the pool after hours / weekends have an encounter with multiple adults learning swimming from a few students. Shenanigans may or may not happen. The students could get increased stats for swimming and sport-related education.

If disallowed, and some of them opens the swimming lesson session anyway:
- Visiting the pool and catching them on the spot. Demand payment of sorts to not report them for... what's the regulation here, tresspassing? Using equipment without permission?
- Or give in and let them open a swimming lesson session with the lifeguard student.

Continuation, while there have been successful swimming lessons:
- Either a parent or a student wants to expand their swimming lessons to the open public, and set a day when random people can come to the swimming pool for 'lessons'. Payment of some kind could happen here too. Perhaps reputation depending on how well they teach? idk.

Lots of good ideas, and it will still require you to show-up for it, just won't be dependent on the way it currently functions. With how it'll function going forward(a committee organizing it) I don't see sabotage working, maybe 'bribing' would be a better way to go about it. Also betting between club members(Even students) could absolutely be something incorporated.

Okay, not gonna lie both ideas are great. In fact I can see using the second one for Parent Gym Club and the first for the actual swim club. Will just need Barteke to sign off on the first one however, namely because while it works a lot better than current chain, it is admittedly a notable change... does make a lot more sense than current chain though.

Maybe i will use some different trigger

i will change to some event could be a traumatic one like a news on the newspaper of someone drowning, maybe it could be something like a beach party organized by someone for some reason and if you attend someone nearly drown. i will keep it outside anything about the school area also to develop some other areas/events that could happen too keep it more interesting.

Also about the pool guard, it could be added some fan club like the one with idontrememberthename
but this time asked by the girls that are obsessed with him

Oh, uh, to be honest I've never taken the lifeguard club path so unsure of how it goes. If you tell me the general flow of the current chain, I can give you a similar idea that fits what's already there.

EDIT: found the general flow that the site administrator has put up on onedrive. I'll have a look and give a better idea snippet.

EDIT2: From what I gather, the only lifeguard chains right now are the first aid practice in the swimming pool and patrolling at the beach. Also, all lifeguards are male students. So some examples that I think aren't too far from what's already there:

1. lifeguard student spots and saves someone who was drowning quite a distance away (most people didn't notice them but the lifeguard student did because they were on one of those tall chairs that lets them look a bit further than most people. If not, people could've noticed too but they didn't know what to do instead and only the lifeguard student broke into action). The simplest event.

2. After the 1. event, the principal randomly spotting the lifeguard student shagging someone they've saved in the past as a random filler event idk.

3. Seeing two lifeguard students, one who is patrolling and one who's supposed to be off-duty. The latter is near a group of students in the seaside. The principal approaching them to find that someone in the group isn't good at swimming, so the lifeguard student is with them in case something happens. This one I guess could work like the "Private pool party supervision", although it wont be private and won't need the principal's permission.

Lastly, if you need someone to write up the text bit, I guess I can do that if you give me a general outline of the story you want to see as well as word length.
Saved by a lifeguard heir's breath
- Random trigger upon entering or spending time at the beach with a lifeguard student on patrol.
- lifeguard student spots and saves someone who was drowning quite a distance away (most people didn't notice them but the lifeguard student did because they were on one of those tall chairs that lets them look a bit further than most people. If not, people could've noticed too but they didn't know what to do instead and only the lifeguard student broke into action).
Base example. I'm totally not drunk and in a creative mood
A clear blue sky, a vast open ocean, a loud... commotion? There is a group of people standing by the waters, looking at something far away. The crowd parts to two as you get closer, which let you spot {Male Student Name} of the Lifeguard club crawling out of the water. He is not alone though, as he is carrying an unconscious {woman/man/boy/girl depending on appearance, or their name if an actual entity would be assigned} with him. {Male Student Name} lays the person down on {his/her/their/etc} back, and performs what you recognise as CPR. The crowd, as well as yourself, couldn't help but stare with apprehension as the Lifeguard Club student did everything he could to save a precious life.

After what felt like an eternity, and countless attempts of resuscitation, the {woman/man/boy/girl} spasms and splutters back to life. The crowd cheers at the sight, and you even see some of them even going far as kissing and hugging whoever's nearby.

- Multiple ending depending on stats or the gender of the person they're saving or fetishes or something.
Simple Ending example
While it was very hard not to continue watching a man in the crowd getting slapped by a woman, probably his wife, for kissing a different woman nearby, you managed to do so just in time to see {Male Student Name} and one other person supporting the {woman/man/boy/girl} out of the beach, most likely to get them checked for injuries at the hospital.

You marvel at the brave action of your Lifeguard club, and be on your way.

Sensual Ending example
You marvel at the brave action of your Lifeguard club, and watch as the crowd disperses with happy chatter. As you were about to go back to your own business, you spot {Male Lifeguard Student} in the distance, supporting the {woman/man/boy/girl} he saved all on his own. The two were visibly chatting, and you notice the Lifeguard student's face turn beet red and hurrying towards the nearest corner with the {woman/man/boy/girl}, going out of sight. Curiosity piqued, you tail after the two.

[Insert the rescued person shagging the lifeguard student as reward here and the principal ogling and/or joining in afterwards]
[close]

Continuation
- Some kind of rep or monetary award from the council after a number of days, after hearing the work of the Lifeguard Club
[close]

I think you could maintain both branches as the swim club can grow to be quite large. The swim club could be broken into a swim team and a lifeguard group that could both continue to attract new members.

Like most swim teams, they should practice in the mornings before school, leading to more events possible in the locker rooms and pool in the morning. The swim club could continue with the afternoons, with lifeguards there as well as at the beach.

I like the idea of using the pool for outside events. Maybe a PTA proposal to open the pool and locker rooms to the community on the weekends with the student lifeguards as another revenue source. The school is completely under utilized on the weekends and it could add to the locations you could find townspeople to corrupt.
