Question about how Profile tag works.

From what i've found Profile pics (on the girl info screens) will pull from all work types? so for example, if i have:
 2 geisha profile, 2 waitress profile, 2 dancer profile

on the girl info pages, it will pull from all work types regardless of what they're occupation is?  so if the occupation of the girl is waitress, the girl info page (not the action of working), will use any of the profile tagged pictures (minus sex acts) regardless of the occupation tag.  am i understanding this correctly?

For girls in your brothel it searches for a picture with the "profile" tag and without any of the following tags: "rest", "wet", "beach", "public" + tags for all the jobs she doesn't have. If suitable pictures aren't found then those restricting tags are dropped from right to left until there's a result.

So in your example for a waitress it'd use the "waitress profile" pictures and it'd exclude the geisha & dancer pictures. But keep in mind that any images tagged with only "profile" and no job are considered equally eligible (for every job) and may drown out your job-specific selections.

Here is how it works precisely:
- Every day, each girl's profile picture is refreshed once (to allow prediction and to avoid jarring changes of profile pictures mid-day).
- When refreshed, the profile picture search algorithm doesn't include the girl's current job tag, but it excludes all other job tags. The reason for this is to allow some variety: If, say, only waitress profile pictures were allowed for waitresses, all other profile pictures would sit unused most of the time (and most girl packs do not have a huge variety of job-specific profile pictures). Instead, a waitress will have access to all profile pictures that are not tagged dancer, masseuse or geisha.
- The profile picture does not refresh upon changing jobs until the next day. This is a debatable choice as I prefer not to change the profile picture mid-day too much for reasons stated above, but it could easily be added if many people feel strongly about it.

Note: The above rule means that it is counter-productive to try to assign a profile picture to many jobs at once, such as 'profile waitress dancer geisha.jpg'. Such pictures will only display as mere profile pictures, or for nightly job pictures, but will be excluded from working girl profiles on the 'girls' screen (unless they are used as fallback if no other profile picture is available).

 - are pictures tagged profile used in job actions as well (as in job actions don't care about the profile tag when it already has a job tag)

- No (portraits are too rarely tagged by jobs for it to be very useful)
- Yes (profile pictures are used as fallback for many pictures, so they are only disabled for sexual events)

The only thing i know, is that portrait only take tags with mood (happy, sad, angry, etc.), and naked (works when the girl accept to staying naked all the time.

You're also not going to get the portraits to play nice if you add any hardcore tags ("Yes, officer, this is indeed my official passport photo. The photo booth was crowded that day." ). So best to sanitise portrait images to only use the tags Hellouda mentioned. Actually, "libido" should also work.

Also, portraits are meant to be kinda small-ish as image size goes. IDK how large the new custom resolutions can make them, but a few hundred pixels should be plenty.

also something I recently noticed while updating my packs is that pixiv HAS begun to remove some images from their site. I was checking 2 artists that i've been following for some time and found that quite a few image packs had been hidden from pixiv. One guy i messaged said that he was told pixiv wanted him to hide posts that were sensitive from their platform and that if i wanted them i had to request a link from now on.

I think a lot more than just 2 artists have been hit by this but its hard to notice especially because it seems like certain banned tags can still be searched up? i'm not sure if it's a regional ban for artists posting from outside of japan because the 1 guy i talked to was korean (where porn is technically more strictly banned). I was kind've hoping that pixiv's new censorship terms wouldn't work but it looks like it would be best to bookmark all the artists i've been following on platforms outside of pixiv.

"Rest" and sex tags:

• The most obvious is advanced training/fixation removal, step 3.
  
• "Rest" can be a fallback tag for training (or rape as punishment, or some of the nude/service trainings at the farm), if there are no suitable act-related or nude pics.
  
• Some farm powers seem to allow the combination. Not sure, never played with powers.
  
• Fallback tag for censored night monsters causing "hurt".
  
• It looks like resting at the farm can have sex attached. Figures.
  

Honestly, it seems only the first is truly the intended use case. The rest come in when there's a lack of proper images for some situation, so the game tries to find something that at least vaguely fits.

I think I was wrong. This situation also just allows sex tags to come along, but doesn't specifically look for them.

I haven't played vanilla in many a year, and my own stuff in one and a half, either.

hmm, the thing is I feel like I remember seeing a rest+sex interaction as well when i played back in like 2020 but I don't remember if i could intentionally trigger it or if it was just tagged incorrectly/brought up randomly.

Well, there's the sleep-time masturbation with toys, but that sadly doesn't use the "rest" tag.

I'm finally 80% done with a newish/update pack after months of hiatus trying to make semi-automation work. The braindead part of me doesn't want to upload it until i finish updating all of my other packs though which I know  could take me a month considering it has around 10k untagged images. Goddamit. Still It's kindve cool seeing how much AI cg continues to improve in a short amount of time though. I was pretty impressed back in February but less than half a year later it's quality seems to have risen exponentially. Which also means i have to go back and cut all the lower quality images from every pack to keep up with the average quality of images. Goddamit2

Anyways for any packmaker out there that wants some highish quality images for any fairly popular girl, feel free to ask since i still have around 300 gb of images i bought off of perftile/gumroad/booth/patreon before they got taken down back in april.
