Just wanted to share a new feature that I will progressively roll out with v0.3: A revamped help system, replacing the current clunky dialogue-based help with an in-game encyclopedia of sorts.

I have been meaning to play around with Ren'py and hyperlinks for a while, and I'm pretty happy how it turned out.

I think it will be pretty cool:


Due to the amount of work it will take to retrofit the existing help labels, I will not deliver all of it with 0.3, but the new features will be documented with this system. Hopefully it should make it easier for both new players and experienced ones to learn about the nuances of the game.

A bit like the dialogue system, this is designed to allow for easy writing of descriptions in plain text, and plenty powerful for the game's basic needs. So if you have ideas for detailed help screens, and some time on your hands... Let me know.

Thinking about how high the ceiling for such a feature is does make my brain spin a little bit.
To me, the dream would be to have an accompanying online Wiki which mirrored the exact contents of this feature. But I'm not volunteering as of yet, enough other things on my plate

To be clear, I don't want to include a complete wiki in-game, it would be unwieldy and indexing all the keywords may become a drag on the computer if we really get overboard. But all the key features and concepts of the game could be in there, plus a handful of tutorials.

Learn from my stupidity and never ever cheap out on a PSU, make backups and do not trust a computer repairman when they say that they backed up "everything" (they didn't bother to even back up the User folder for some reason).

Does a PSU problem even fry SSDs?

If it receives power directly through the PSU with a SATA power connector. My M.2 SSD survived.

Another cool new feature that I'm happy to announce will be in v0.3: Soft remove of girl pack pictures.

If you're like me, sometimes a girl pack picture doesn't cut it for you; it's not really up to your standards and you would like not to see it again. With this option, you can exclude it from the game with the press of a key.

The concept is very simple:

• Whenever a girl pack picture is shown on screen, you can hit 'Backspace' to add it to your personal ignore list. The ignore list is permanent and shared between games.
• The game will not show this picture again, unless you add it back in using a new option in the help menu. You can also reset the list at any time.
• In case you made a mistake, pressing 'Backspace' again will add the picture back in while you are on the same screen.
• An option in the 'help' menu will let you print the list of ignored pictures to a .txt file so you can decide what to do with them later (delete them, edit them...)

Everything works as intended in testing, so I'm excited about that feature (the only minor drawback is that when you ignore a profile picture, it will remain on display until the next game day).

When i click the patch link in Goldo´s signature, the opened page says that the site is blocked because it is harmfull. Is there another link?

I was using a URL shortener to make it fit in the signature field, and apparently someone reported it to Bitly as inappropriate (?). It should now work.

Heya, been playing the game for about 2-3 months and am absolutely addicted. I have recently been taking a peek into the code from time to time, and saw that there were special traits for "Story Girls" such as traits called "Dynamo", "Lolita", "Ghost" and "Stalwart". Is there a way for these girls to be recruited into the brothel?
