hi!
I have some questions.
1. how alcohol works (+10 mood)
2. how neck works? if i have, for example, +10% body gain neck and my girl get +5 body pint, did i get some bonus or not?
3. Lucky charm neck - critical success its mean perfect result? and what about 'does not stack' mean? if girl working and whoring its not working?
4. how bride tree perk Leading by Example work?
5. courtesan tree perk Warm welcome what is +50% to half-shift resting bonus?
6. bride tree perk confession didn work if girl got max lvl?

1. increasing the mood of your girl (she becamme more happier and dont want to escape)
2. it's increasing the rate how much point's you gain (for example during work she gain 10 but because of this she get 1 more extra)
3. she becamme more luckier and fail at work less often (good for girls with unlucky trait) and it's means what it's means it's dosnt stack with other items or perks
4. she pretty much becamme a mentor/teacher for other girl's (give's +1 point to a random stat for a random girl)
5. when she works half-shift she recovers faster (example she get 30 energy when resting after work but with this she get 45)
6. it's give's extra exp and jp point's for the girls who are not working and it's still works even after they are max level it's just that it's dosnt change anything

I am trying to figure out how to increase the number of Girls that can work in each of the "Common Rooms" such as the Tavern or Okiya. I have found that I can modify the total number of serviceable customers by modifying BKinit_variables.rpy:

room_capacity_dict = {0 : 4, 1 : 4, 2 : 6, 3 : 8, 4 : 10, 5 : 12, 6 : 14, 7 : 16}
By modifying the number after each colon it seems to change the number of serviceable customers at various stages in the game. While this is useful, it isn't my goal.

I figure that if I were the owner of a tavern, even a run down cheap tavern, I could fit a few folks in there before it would get crowded. At stage 1 there's a total of 5 people (4 customers and 1 girl) in any individual Common Room which seems small to me. That's basically a single table of 4 in a tavern as the maximum number/size of tables.

Anyway, if I could either modify the number of upgrade levels for the Common Rooms or the number of workers per upgrade level in the Common Rooms, that would be ideal.

I only want to modify the number of workers (higher or lower) in each room, not produce an extra-dimensional geometry within the walls of the building to recreate the infinite hotel paradox as an experiment. Specifically I'd like to both be able to modify the number of upgrades at each brothel level and the number of workers at each upgrade in each Common Room independently. I'm just not certain where those variables are stored and thought, "Why not ask if someone has some knowledge on the question rather than spend hours testing every variable to see where it might be?"

Edit: I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or if you didn't know about the limit on the number of workers in each Common Room. Either way, any tips would be a great help. If the answer is to create a new mod and define some new parameters, so be it. I noticed that the mod, Chris' Job Mod, makes some changes to the number of serviceable customers, so it gave me the idea that the parameter for workers might be something I could play with.

Sorry if my reply seemed a bit snarky. I'm genuinely unaware of any limit to how many girls you can fit into the common rooms. You choose how many girls are in each room by assigning them jobs, and as far as I know there are no limits to how many times you assign certain jobs. It's not optimal to focus on one job due to customer-limits, but that's besides the point.

I even tested it in a beginning brothel to make sure, making all 4 of my girls waitresses seemed to work fine. Granted, only the first two actually had work to do, because I could only seat 4 tavern-customers. The simplest way to fix that would be by editing the customer-limits.

One thing that could be an interesting addition to working hours, is a screen that shows "Girl X was assigned to work as a waitress, but she was unable to do so as all the customers in the tavern were already attended to."
Currently if a girl is working as a certain job, but doesn't have any customers to serve, she's completely ignored. I can see how that could lead to confusion as to why she didn't appear to be working. edit: Actually, she's not completely ignored, she just appears to be resting.

I did some testing and it turns out it's my fault anyway so no worries. I started a fresh game and as you said, there's a limitless capacity for girls to attend to guests. Edit: Your theory is correct in that I was noticing girls resting when they should have been working because of the number of girls I had working in particular jobs. Per usual I went for the complicated explanation and started rummaging through .rpy variables rather than taking some time for simple observation.

This does get me thinking that there is a somewhat unrealistic expectation for the number of workers. So in my complete lack of experience in such matters I have it in mind to create a mod that adds "Tables" to the tavern, only so many waitresses can attend a table, the tables get larger as the brothel levels advance, and other Common Rooms would get their own similar workstations.

The dancers could get "Platforms", the masseuse could get a "Massage Table", and the Okiya could get "Private Rooms" (or something).

Perhaps there's a "Counter Space",  or "Hot Spring Area" which allows for a bonus number of workers based on the brothel level + the selected location. That could add a strategic element to the choice of location besides the free starting Common Room.

If each workstation started at 4 customers at the basic level, and each brothel level could upgrade a number of workstations in each Common Room, then that might achieve the kind of balancing I originally (and in error) had in mind. Obviously different workstations would be different. A massage table can only service a single customer (unless you're thinking of some kinky situation), a private room ideally doesn't have too many customers inside, and a dancing platform can provide for the viewing pleasure of a large numbers of customers.

I will need to think on the balance of such things, and of course this does nothing but add more challenge to the game, so maybe some rewards are an order as well.

what if the girl's skills (for example, charisma) will affect how much energy she spends on customer, and not on the number of customers? this all requires a lot of work on the balance, but it solves the problem when you served 30 customers out of 230 overnight

In early game, there is no advantage, your girls won't even accept working as whores and they are bad at it, bringing you less money in and they need double the energy per guest, evening it out with normal jobs. You need to train them at least until their preference is high enough and extra training raises their skill, but working does too. However, there is a limit to how many guests can be entertained in normal jobs and later whoring brings you more money in, not only per guest, but overall. It's even more true for bisexual and group acts. For the best satisfaction, you need both normal jobs and whores. Experiment with training and jobs, read through the perks and choose what you find best. Half the fun is finding the winning strategy.

Also, I was wondering if there is any difference between treating them very bad with fear/hate as opposed to love/safety? Do they behave differently?

If I'm not mistaken that is chosen by random, sometimes, for one girl and one negative fixation on one particular day the gentle approach works, tomorrow it's going to be "normal" or "rough". Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :)

How removing fixations work
Here is how it works:
- 'positive' approach grants you a bonus according to her love and mood. Use it if both are high.
- 'neutral' approach gives you a flat chance of success. Use it if none of her feelings are high.
- 'negative' approach grants you a higher base chance of success and a bonus according to her fear. However, you have a small chance of locking her negative fixation for good. Use it if fear is high and you're feeling lucky.

The pic's tagged with "date" are only shows up when you recruit girls from the city or when the girl is working as a geisha.(most often when you dont have enough pic's for it)
